Burlap Willow Cigar Club (April 15)

It was a very special evening at Bert Driver’s Burlap Room as the second Burlap Willow Cigar Night unfolded.

Joe and Angela Brown set up a display of their superb cigars, and there were several folks (including some ladies) who had come out  “just  for the cigars”, but wound up spending the entire evening with us, soaking up the local vibe and the customary great live music performance.

Guests included patrons from Gulfport, MS, Minneapolis, MN, and Sheboygan Falls, WI.

The Greek Station served up hot food for attendees while some sipped on craft beer in the beer garden by the fire pits.

This installment of Bert's on Thursdays featured live music by Jordan Morack and the MTSUniverse, a hot jazz group filled with exuberant talent that were much appreciated by all attendees.

Bert Driver and the Burlap Team are honored that Jordan chose our venue for his “Degree Recital for Jazz Studies at MTSU”.   Not only did Jordan and MTSUniverse play hard driving jazz — as music lovers ourselves, it was a joy to see such a young, talented group carrying the jazz torch onward.
